Sigil

Note: I highly recommend downloading, instead of playing in the browser. For some reason the pixelart is messed up in the browser. (If someone also uses Love2D and knows how to fix this, please let me know!)

Summoning demons seemed easy enough. Just scribble some sigils on the ground and sing the incantations. Except, where do the sigils go...? In Sigil you try to finish 9 summoning circles by solving a sudoku-like puzzle of sigil placements.

In sigil you should follow a couple of rules:

  • Red and blue numbers show how many sigils of that color should be in the corresponding row or column.
  • The number of orbs floating around a candle indicates how many of the 4 surrounding tiles should contain a sigil.
  • Clicking on the red or blue basket lets you place sigils. Left click to place, right click to remove.
  • You also have three additional candles. Use them wisely!
  • Click on the wizard if you have the solution. You can make 3 mistakes before the game is over.

Good luck!

This game was made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 55. The theme was 'summoning'.
